Natural Self Defense: Fearless Woman
Natural body movements allow you to defend yourself and protect your loved ones.  Young children instinctively use very efficient body movements that also coincide with protecting themselves.  Yet we learn to walk or move in different manners as we age.  These learned movements take us away from the natural efficient self protection movements we are born with.

Living overseas during my daughter's middle school and high school years left me very concerned for her safety.
Her high heels and long finger nails prevented learning and using the usual punch, kick and thump type of women's self defense training and she wasn't interested in learning that or spending time learning karate or any other martial art.

After much thought, practice and study, using some of the techniques I learned over the past 30+ years from Grand Master Seikichi Iha, 10th Degree, Beikoku Shidokan Karate, I developed a quick effective self defense course that my height- challenged daughter could use to defend herself in most situations.  Teaching these to my daughter allowed me to sleep more soundly at night during her high school and college years.

The best part is these can be learned in less than 3 hours!

Diplomats assigned overseas, military spouses overseas, and Washington-based USGovernment employees all say this is the easiest, most effective natural self defense course they have studied.  Many clamor that this should be taught for everyone going overseas because for the first time they really believe they can protect themselves.   Plus there is nothing to remember, you just react (and you can do most of them in high heels without damaging your long finger nails!).

Learn Natural Self Defense  become a Fearless Woman!

Little to no strength is required as your natural body movements protect you.

Careful though: while teaching these courses my students have knocked me out cold twice!  I like to think it by accident....

I now often teach the movements during my regular karate classes without specifying what it is we are doing.
Black belts with 10 to 15 years of experience are amazed at the ease of these techniques and teach their wives and daughters.

Very Brief History:

Chosin Chibana was a student of Itosu who called his karate Shorin ryu, roughly translated as "Shaolin School"

Chosin Chibana called his style of karate Kobayashi Shorin ryu.  This roughly translates to "Small Pine Forest."

Katsuya Miyahira, Chibana's senior student, called his karate Shidokan.  There are many translations, the one many like is "Gentleman's Way School."

Seikichi Iha, Miyahira's senior student, calls his karate
Beikoku Shidokan.  This means "American Gentleman's Way".  Seikichi Iha's first karate instructor was Shinpan "Shiroma" Gusukuma a colleague of Chosin Chibana.
